1950s Aluminium Pink Flamingos - Pair

Fabulous pair of 1950’s cast aluminium lawn flamingos originating from the U.S.A.  In original condition with worn old pink and black paint, these beautiful and elegant flamingos cast in two different poses perch atop their original wrought iron legs, which would originally have been inserted directly into the ground to allow them to stand.

The legs have more recently been mounted to a heavy-gauge steel base to allow the flamingos to be displayed on various surfaces, inside or out.

Please do note the sizing of these flamingos, as they can be found in several sizes. These are the rarer, smaller-sized examples.

Standing mounted dimensions (based on tallest flamingo):
Height from floor to top of head: 83 cm
Height from floor to top of body: 70 cm
Length of base: 40 cm
Width of base: 7 cm

Flamingo-only dimensions:
Length: 31 cm
Width: 8 cm
Height: 22 cm

CONDITION NOTE:
Weathering and wear throughout commensurate with age, use and materials. Slight bending to the original legs. Note flamingos and base are separate components, supplied separately. Flamingos slide into place on top of the legs through formed holes on base of the flamingos. Please see photos.
