19th Century Louis Philippe Gold Gilt French Mirror

Lovely French Louis Philippe mirror with gold gilt frame. The mirror features outer and inner pearl beading and a decorative repeating leaf detail. Lovely aged patina, with a lightly foxed original mercury plate. Original back with rope and hooks.

CONDITION NOTE:
Wear commensurate with age and use. Some nicks and losses, most notably at top left and bottom corners. Areas of wear and cracking to frame. General wear all around frame edges. Signs of ageing to the mirror plate with some light foxing and the odd light scratch. Mirror gives a quite clear reflection. We have given this mirror a precautionary woodworm treatment for any sign of old woodworm. Please see photos for details.
