Lovely 19th century portrait of a seated woman wearing a blue and white lace bonnet. Oil on canvas, mounted in a timeworn, decorative gold gilt and gesso frame.

CONDITION NOTE
Areas of loss and wear to painting, with an old repair to a tear in the arm area and some small, pin-sized holes dotted about. Craquelure to paint. Losses to frame throughout. Some historic woodworm evident to frames, which has been treated. This painting could be restored or enjoyed as is with its timeworn character. Please see all photos for details.
