ARTIST BIO
Nils-Göran Brunner was a Swedish artist. From the late 1940s to the mid-1950s, Nils-Göran Brunner studied at the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm. He received several scholarships, including Erik Sääf's scholarship in 1952, Bonnier's scholarship in 1955, Ellen Trotzig's scholarship in 1960 and the State's larger work scholarship in 1966 and 1967. He painted mostly in oil and often depicted simpler subjects, but also did landscape paintings, often in a small format. Nils-Göran Brunner is represented at, among others, the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, the Malmö Art Museum and the Ystad Art Museum.
