This is a superb, unique, original stone fountain spout, originating from a water feature in the Alpes region of France, circa early 1900s. It is beautifully hand carved from limestone from the Grenoble area. It is extremely heavy. It features a gorgeous and striking cherub-like figure with puffed out cheeks, "blowing" the water through the spout.

The spout is made from lead and is still intact, ready for hooking up to a water supply. This enchanting stone figure would look amazing in any garden feature.

    CONDITION NOTE:
Lovely condition for its age, with some natural weathering. There is some darker colouration to the outside, most likely due to being against the surface it was set into within the feature fountain it was extracted from. Please study photos as these make up part of the description.
