Beautiful antique 19th century deer antlers mounted to dark mahogany or rosewood wedge plaque.
These antlers display superb natural ageing and evoke a moody feel of the past, with a unique ancient inscription representing the story of their origin - the "Forêt du Trait" in Normandy.

Beautifully aged overall. Some cracking and wear in places, and chips/wear to corners of plaque. Old natural loss to tip of one of the antlers. Please see photos.
