Wooden Canada Goose Decoy

Primitive American folk art Canada goose decoy with original paint. This charming, grandly-proportioned goose features glass eyes and a swivel head (removable), a slat-style body and is stamped 'Wishart-Morgan Makers' on the base. U.S.A. circa 1920. A rare survivor.

CONDITION NOTE:
Genuine working decoy in as-found condition. Signs of ageing, losses, weathering and wear to paint and wood, imperfections, some holes and shot marks, some cracking to head and beak area and warping and unevenness to slats. All part of its authentic antique charm. Refer to all photos for details.
