Large French Mid-Century Abstract Painting by Patrick Boudon

A stunning large-scale original abstract painting by French artist Patrick Boudon (1944-1988). Large looping forms of turquoise, red, and pink applied in thick strokes create bold visual interest and movement against colour-blocked areas of deep purple and ochre. An expressive and energetic large-scale piece to enhance any space. Oil on canvas, signed and dated '65 on verso. Presented in a black wooden tray frame.

CONDITION NOTE:
Vintage painting in good condition. Old repair patch on back to a small tear in canvas in lower right quadrant which is barely visible when viewing the painting. There has been some movement to canvas at left side due to age. Please see all photos for details.
