ARTIST BIO
Bror Ingemar Fröberg, born March 25, 1921 in Stockholm, died July 15, 1999 in Huddinge parish, was a Swedish painter. Fröberg studied art at Signe Barth's painting school in Stockholm and during study trips to France and Spain. He debuted in a solo exhibition at Lilla galleriet in Stockholm in 1951 and participated in group exhibitions at Liljevalch's art gallery and Galleri Blanche.

Together with Olle Langert and Alf ten Siethoff, he exhibited at Gummeson's art gallery in 1953. Among Fröberg's public decorations are Tribute to Stagnelius in 1962, for the Tobacco Monopoly in Stockholm, Into the fog, into the fairy tale at the Academic Hospital in Uppsala. He occasionally used the signature Bror Ingemar. Fröberg is represented at the Moderna museum in Stockholm and the Sörmland museum. Ingemar Fröberg is buried in Tyresö memorial grove.
