ARTIST BIO
Bengt Ivar Crantz, born 25 July 1916 in Toarp Älvsborg county, died 2001, was a Swedish painter. Crantz studied for a short period at Otte Sköld's school of painting but was essentially self-taught as an artist. He exhibited separately in, among other places, Gothenburg and Stockholm, and, as a member of the artist group Dalslandsmålarna, he participated in the group's collective exhibitions. Crantz is represented at Moderna museet, Malmö museum and in Herman Gotthardt's collection.
