Mid-Century Willy Guhl Rectangular Planter - Large
Large, mid-century modernist rectangular fibre cement planter by Swiss designer Willy Guhl. This utilitarian planter features recessed handles on each end for ease of lifting and moving. There are two drilled holes in the base for drainage. Individual stamp inside. Switzerland, 1950s.
They originate from the same previous home, so have a similar patina.

This original planter is made from fibre cement by Eternit and is suitable for use outdoors only. The surface layer should not be removed.
CONDITION:
Original planter in vintage condition with weathered patina of old paint remnants, moss, lichen and some rust deposits, and wear from previous outdoor use, including some loss/nibbling away around rim edges. Please refer to photos.
