Mid-Century Willy Guhl Spindel/Diabolo Planter - 63 cm

A mid-century fibre cement 'Spindel' planter (also know as 'Diabolo') by Swiss designer Willy Guhl. This beautiful and sculptural planter is considered to be one of Guhl's most iconic modernist designs. Switzerland, 1960s. Stamped on base.

MATERIAL NOTE:
This original planter is made from fibre cement by Eternit and is suitable for use outdoors only. The surface layer should not be removed.

CONDITION:
Original planter in good condition. A clean example with evident layers of overpainting, some weathering and wear from previous use. Please refer to photos.
