ARTIST BIO
Paul Gerhard (Paul Gerhard Igerup, also known as Nilsson), born September 3, 1931 is a Swedish artist. 

Paul Gerhard studied at the Skåne school of painting and has mainly been active in Skåne with landscape paintings, figures, still lifes and pencil drawings. He was chairman of the Skånska Konstnärsklubben 1992-2003. He has participated in a large number of solo and collective exhibitions (among others with the Artists' Cooperation Association (KSO) a number of times) at Liljevalchs, Skåne Art Association, Norrköping Art Museum, Värmlands Museum, Borås Art Museum, Kristianstad Regional Museum, Ystad Art Museum, Dalarna Museum, Varberg Museum , Jönköping county museum, Landskrona art gallery, Kunstnärernas Hus in Oslo, Bergen art association and several places.

Gerhard has created public works in Rosengårds Entré and Östra sjukhuset in Malmö, and he is represented at the art museums including Malmö museum, Borås art museum, Kalmar and Tomelilla, Alingsås museum, collections in municipalities and county councils in Malmö, Karlskrona, Stockholm, Ängelholm, Lund and others.
