ARTIST BIO
Nils Klas Helge Franzén, born July 28, 1913 in Kungsholm parish in Stockholm, died October 26, 2008 in Enskede-Årsta parish, Stockholm, was a Swedish artist. Helge Franzén was a student at Otte Sköld's painting school in 1932, at the Academy of Arts in 1933–1935 and with the artist Nils Sjögren. He was associated with the Swedish-French art gallery 1941–1943 and Färg och Form 1952–1962. His works, which consisted of landscapes, still lifes, portraits and the Stockholm landscape, are represented, among others, at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
