ARTIST BIO
Walter Nordgren, born 1927 in Säffle, died 1964 in Enskede, was a visual artist and draftsman. Educated at Slöjdföreningen's school in Gothenburg, at Valand's art school and at the Art Academy. Nordgren mostly worked with still life and painting in the Cézanne tradition. Public works include a wall painting for the Sahlgrenska hospital in Gothenburg in 1952. Nordgren participated in Dagens Nyheter, Form, Aftonposten and Perspektiv as an illustrator. Nordgren is represented in the National Museum in Stockholm.
