Original vintage pull-down zoological school chart of a Hare/Wild Rabbit by Jung-Koch-Quentell. First published in 1956. Printed by Hagemann in Germany in 1971.This chart was produced as an educational tool for German schools and colleges by teacher Heinrich Jung, artist and biologist Gottlieb von Koch and college director Doctor Friedrich Quentell.
Their aim was to create universal charts, without text, which would be easy to interpret for teachers in any language. It was important that the colours were true and that the size of the charts was large enough to be seen by an entire classroom.
The stunning design and printing of these charts has made them sought after interior design pieces today.Printed on paper, backed with canvas, with black wooden rods top and bottom, hanging string and ribbon tie.
