English 1930s Fairground Folk Art Wooden Knockdown Duck

Original 1930s English folk art fairground stall knockdown ducks. Handmade from wood, each one is unique, and each is set on its own wooden base and freestanding.

These ducks would have been knocked down many times over in their fairground life, as reflected in their weathered and worn original paint, battle marks and scars, and especially their wonderful historic repairs.

*Price is for one duck. The two white ducks are now sold. Only the black duck is available*

CONDITION NOTE:
Original working knockdown ducks, with wear, weathering and battle scars throughout commensurate with age and use. Lovely old repairs to head/neck area - on both sides of the black duck. Remnants of old glue. Refer to photos for details.
