Trio of English 1930s Fairground Folk Art Wooden Knockdown Ducks

A trio of original 1930s English folk art fairground stall knockdown ducks. Handmade from wood, each one is unique, and this set comprises two white and one black duck each set on its own wooden base and freestanding.
These ducks would have been knocked down many times over in their fairground life, as reflected in their weathered and worn original paint, battle marks and scars, and especially their wonderful historic repairs.

Original working knockdown ducks, with wear, weathering and battle scars throughout commensurate with age and use. Lovely old repairs to head/neck area - on both sides of the black duck and 1 of the white ducks, and to 1 side only of the other white duck. Remnants of old glue. Refer to photos for details.
